How much time more must we wait to be able to enter to our house?
From the great rain that fell down in September and caused these terrible destructions in the paredon of my house, in Ladera del Mar, until today in the one that continues, since it is possible to verify in the images, the paredon in the same conditions, and as to present the panorama it seems to me that nobody is going to come to repair it.
Probably if the disaster was located opposite to EUROPA'S BALCONY already would it be tidy fixed?
In this another image also it is possible to see with clarity like finds the access at the edge of my vivenda and of the rest of the houses that they find together with mine. The worst of this situation is that in the nights and without lighting you can stumble over any of the rubbles that exists in the soil. In addition, it(he) is very dangerous because the cables of the light are damaged by the fall of the apredón and if it(he,she) returns to credit another flood it he might turn into a real disaster.Barranco del Puerto
The river bed as it is now. What a great shame, particularly for those of us who live here and use it as the sole access to our properties. Since the floods of September, practically nothing has been done to clear it up and the little that has been done is thanks to the efforts of our own residents. Burriana has been cleared up though. Burriana first said our Mayor. Here, we don’t even have any rubbish containers because the lorries still can’t get through and it’s beginning to look like a municipal rubbish tip.
We are waiting for this to be resolved.
Christmas lights
I think it is intolerable that the Town Hall of Nerja has left main streets such as Calle Angustias without Christmas lighting just because businesses have refused to pay 50 euros for their installation. What is worse where there is lighting there are huge spaces between one and another just because one poor resident hasn’t paid up and therefore there little bit of street is left in the dark!
Rubbish bins
Or lack of them? I would like to complain about the lack of rubbish bins everywhere. In Calle Los Huertos, a long busy street full of businesses and transited by many there is just one rubbish bin. In other streets there are none!
The Big Bottle Party
Boxing Day morning and a filthy Verano Azul Park and petanque court caught the attention of many a passer by. Yes, the big bottle party, “El Botellón” had taken place, again. Bottles, plastic glasses, and rubbish strewn around; broken benches and lamp-posts, plants ruined. This is the result of a municipal park area that has been designated by the Town Hall as the most appropriate place for our youth to hold the “Gran Botellón”, some people now referring to it as “The Lawless Park”. Who therefore is defending the conservation of our municipal parks and green areas? When will this situation be resolved?
